ON ESTABLIHSING THE PROCEDURE FOR GRANTING AND WITHDRAWING THE CO-PRODUCTION STATUS
Taking as a basis point 4 of part 1 of Article 7 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On cinematography”, the Government of the Republic of Armenia hereby decides:
1. To establish the procedure for granting and withdrawing the co-production status, pursuant to the Annex.
2. This Decision shall enter into force 2 months after its official promulgation.

PROCEDURE
FOR GRANTING AND WITHDRAWING THE CO-PRODUCTION STATUS
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
1. This Procedure shall establish the procedures for granting and withdrawing the co-production status.
2. International cooperation in the field of cinematography shall be carried out in accordance with international agreements, including the provisions of the Convention of the Council of Europe “On Cinematographic Co-Production” as well as the regulations established by Articles 25 and 26 of the Law “On cinematography”.
2. GRANTING AND WITHDRAWING THE CO-PRODUCTION STATUS
3. The co-production status shall be granted and withdrawn by the cultural foundation (hereinafter referred to as “the National Body”)
4. In order to receive an initial co-production status the filmmaker shall submit relevant application (Form No 1), including the necessary package of documents, to the National Body at least one month prior to the shooting of the film, in accordance with the requirements of points 1-7 of part 1 of Article 19 of the Law “On cinematography”.
5. In order to receive a final co-production status the filmmaker shall, within a period of 2 months after completion of shooting of the film, submit to the National Body relevant application (Form No 2), including the necessary package of documents in accordance with the requirements of points 1-7 of part 2 of Article 19 of the Law “On cinematography”, as well as the finalized film (with protective layer: a digital medium).
6. Documents drawn up in a foreign language must be accompanied also by their Armenian translation made by a certified translator.
7. The National Body shall, not later than within 10 working days after examining the document package submitted by the filmmaker, provide the filmmaker with a certificate attesting the preliminary and (or) final status of co-production (Form No 2) .
8. In the event of detecting inaccuracies in the application for the granting the preliminary and (or) final co-production status, the National Body shall, within 3 working days, send a notice (Form No 3) to the applicant by requiring to correct the inaccuracies and (or) to submit the missing documents within 10 working days.
9. The application for the granting preliminary and (or) final co-production status shall be rejected not later than within 10 working days after the receipt of the application (Form No 4), in case of violation of the requirements set forth in points 1-3 of part 3 of Article 19 of the Law “On Cinematography”.
10. Rejected applications may, along with adjusted document package, be repeatedly submitted to the National Body not later than within 20 working days from the date of rejection.
11. The same application may be submitted to the National Body maximum two times.
12. The co-production status shall be withdrawn in the cases specified in points 1-2 of part 4 of Article 19 of the Law “On cinematography”, where the National Body shall, within 5 working days, notify the applicant (Form No 5) thereof.
